About Lily
I’m a huge animal lover and have grown up surrounded by pets of all shapes, sizes and personalities. From cats and dogs to birds, rabbits and even lambs! I’m comfortable caring for both big and small dogs, as well as pets with different temperaments, from super friendly and outgoing to those who are a little more anxious and need some extra patience and reassurance. I also previously fostered cats, so I understand the importance of making animals feel safe and comfortable, especially when they’re getting to know someone new. What do you need to know about a pet before accepting a booking?
I’d love to know a little about your pet’s personality, how they are with new people and, for dogs, how they are around other dogs while out walking. Please also let me know about their usual routine, any behaviours I should be aware of, and any special requests or care instructions you have. The more I know, the better I can make sure they feel happy, safe and comfortable in my care!
How much time will you actually spend with my pet each visit?
This is completely up to you and the service you book! I’ll spend the full booked time with your pet and follow any specific instructions you provide. For walks, I’ll make sure they have time to settle back in safely and comfortably before I leave.
What happens if my pet gets sick or hurt while with you?
Please provide your preferred course of action and emergency contact details before the booking. If your pet becomes sick or injured, I’ll contact you as soon as possible and, if veterinary care is needed, take them to their local vet. If you have a preferred vet, please provide their details beforehand. In an urgent situation where I can’t reach you, your pet’s safety and wellbeing will always come first.

Flexible
While your request is waiting, cancelling is free — your card is only held. Once Local Pet Co accepts: Cancel up to 24 hours before the start for a full refund. Cancel inside 24 hours and 50% is refunded. If Local Pet Co cancels, you're always refunded in full.
