Hi! I'm Lara and I'm a student at Monash living on-campus, studying Psychology. Currently I volunteer at the student-run library and the Wholefoods (both on campus) as well as being an RA in my residential hall and working casually on-campus, but I'd love to get some work outside of the university that will take me on journeys around the neighbourhood. I love animals, have had at least one dog at home my entire life, and cats were abundant in my neighbourhood. I've also looked after guinea pigs and mice before, and have a bit of experience with reptiles (bearded dragon, snake, turtle, frogs) and chickens, as well as fish of course! When I get my own place I cannot wait to have cats and the space to build a 'catio'. At home, I walk my family dog often, and walk my auntie's and friends' dogs. I've had informal experience of about ten years, and formal of two. I've looked after multiple dogs at once, and also wash and brush my family dog. I would love to look after your animal!

I can take your pet/s on walks around your neighbourhood, maximum 1 hour but happy to discuss! I’ve got no problem with strong and/or hyper dogs.
I can check in on your pet/s once or twice a day for a quick feed, play, and any other jobs. Can be in-and-out or stay for a few hours!

Their energy level and how they react to strangers. I’m good with almost any introduction but it’s always good to know how the animal will be before going into it!
It would depend on the animal, but a walk would usually be 45 minutes, a visit can be as long as needed, and in terms of house-sitting I’ve got a very open schedule and wouldn’t be gone for more than three hours at a time.
Can be discussed before a booking, but I’d call you first and take them to the nearest vet (if emergency) or your chosen vet. I can drive if needed!
