Hi, It's Carin and Nathan. We're based in Melbourne CBD and i (Carin) work from home, which allows me to give plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I previously worked in a pet shop and doggy daycare for 2,5 year, where I gained hands-on experience with animal behaviour and care. I’ve looked after a wide range of animals including dogs (30+) cats, (5+) birds(5+) , rabbits, hamsters, and guinea pigs. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life, and I treat every pet with the same kindness, patience, and responsibility I give my own pets. A Typical Day & Exercise Luckily, I live right next to Flagstaff Gardens, which is perfect for walks, exercise, and fresh air. I provide regular outdoor time and potty breaks so your dog can feel comfortable and relaxed in a familiar routine. A typical boarding day with me includes at least two to three 30-minute walks, depending on your pet’s needs, along with playtime and mental stimulation to keep them happy and engaged. S

Before accepting a booking, I like to know your pet’s age, breed, temperament, daily routine, energy level, and how they behave around other dogs and people. I also need to know about any medications, allergies, dietary requirements, anxiety, separation issues, or special needs. Please also let me know their usual walking, feeding, sleeping and toilet routine, as well as anything that may trigger stress or unwanted behaviour. The more I know beforehand, the more comfortable and happy I can make their stay.
I provide plenty of companionship throughout the day rather than leaving pets alone for long periods. For walks, I usually spend around 30–45 minutes walking and allowing time for sniffing and toilet breaks, followed by a little time to settle them back in. For daycare or boarding, I’m around to supervise, play, give attention, feed meals and follow their normal routine throughout the day. I always aim to make them feel comfortable, safe and cared for like they’re at home.
Your pet’s safety is my priority. If your pet becomes unwell or gets injured, I will contact you as soon as possible and keep you updated throughout the situation. For anything urgent, I will seek appropriate veterinary care immediately rather than waiting, and I will follow your instructions regarding your preferred vet or emergency clinic whenever possible. I also ask owners to provide an emergency contact, vet details and any relevant medical information before the booking.
While your request is waiting, cancelling is free — your card is only held. Once Carin’s dog services accepts: Cancel up to 24 hours before the start for a full refund. Cancel inside 24 hours and 50% is refunded. If Carin’s dog services cancels, you're always refunded in full.
