Before meeting your dog, I’d love to know a little bit about them so I can make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. Please let me know their name, age, breed, personality and energy level, as well as anything they love or dislike. It’s also helpful to know how they are around other dogs, people and children, whether they have any fears or behaviours I should be aware of, and their usual walking, feeding and bathroom routine.
Every dog deserves plenty of one-on-one attention and care. The amount of time spent with each dog will depend on the service you choose and their individual needs. For walks, I’ll make sure your dog gets a good amount of exercise and attention rather than simply a quick walk. For pet sitting, I’ll spend quality time with them throughout the visit, including playtime, cuddles, feeding and anything else they may need.
If a pet becomes sick while they’re in my care, I would contact you straight away and keep you updated. If it’s an emergency, I would prioritise getting them the appropriate veterinary care and contact their nominated vet or emergency vet if needed. I’d also follow any instructions you’ve provided about their health, medications and preferred vet.
