Hi there! I’m Chrissy, a lifelong animal lover who has been caring for pets just like yours my whole life. Growing up on a primarily equestrian farm I am accustomed to a variety of pets - large and small. I have cared for animals at all stages of life - from bottle fed lambs and kittens to those senior friends who need some extra time, care and medication. I provide a calm and considerate approach to working with animals, and believe positive reinforcement is the best way to communicate with them. In the meet and greet I’ll ask about your routines, and stick to them as closely as possible - this ensures not only that your pet has consistency and familiarity, but also that you can pick up where you left off when you get back. I have recently moved from Canberra to Sydney so am looking to set up a new client base, offering local dog walking and pet sitting all over Sydney.

Your card is held, not charged. Chrissys Pet Co has 48 hours to accept. The BamChi service fee (5%) is shown in your receipt before you pay. BamChi holds your payment and releases it to Chrissys Pet Co only after the visit is done.

Before accepting a booking I consider the dogs age, temperament, medication, excercise schedule, and attachment style to ensure that I can appropriately accomodate all needs and that the owners feel comfortable that their companion will be cared for in the best way.
For a walk I will tailor the time spent to your dogs needs. A higher energy dog may get a 1 hour walk, while a senior dog may only need 30 minutes. House visits are also tailored, but I will usually spend at least 1 hour feeding, cleaning, and playing with your furry friend. For pet sitting I am home at least as often as you are, where possible, and will keep to your normal schedule.
If your pet falls ill or injures them self while under my care I have a wealth of experience, and can often determine if something is more serious. However, given I do not know your pet as well as you do, you will be my first point of contact where I will discuss the symptoms and observations and recommend a next step. I have a car so will be able to take your dog/cat to your normal vet, or if the situation is urgent, to an emergency vet where you will be kept informed every step of the way.
While your request is waiting, cancelling is free — your card is only held. Once Chrissys Pet Co accepts: Cancel up to 24 hours before the start for a full refund. Cancel inside 24 hours and 50% is refunded. If Chrissys Pet Co cancels, you're always refunded in full.
