I'd love to know their age, temperament, and daily routine, including feeding times and any medication. It's also helpful to know how they are around new people, other animals, and whether there's anything specific that makes them anxious or excited, so I can keep them comfortable and safe.
This depends on what's booked, but generally I like to spend a good amount of unhurried time with each pet: a proper walk if that's part of the booking, plus playtime and settling in, rather than rushing in and out. I want them to feel relaxed and cared for, not just "checked on.
Your pet's safety is my absolute priority. If they seemed unwell or were hurt, I would contact you immediately. I always like to have your vet's details on hand in advance so no time is wasted in an emergency. If you and your pet are comfortable with it, I'm happy to take them to the vet myself, but I'd always welcome any specific instructions you'd like me to follow in that situation, so I can handle it exactly the way you'd want.
