I like to understand each pet’s personality, daily routine, feeding schedule, behaviour, medical needs and any special instructions before accepting a booking. For dogs, I also ask about leash behaviour, interactions with other animals and any triggers, so I can make sure the pet is safe and comfortable in my care.

If your pet becomes sick or gets injured while in my care, I would stay calm, make sure they are safe, and contact you immediately to explain what happened. I would follow any emergency instructions you’ve provided and, if needed, take your pet to your preferred vet or the nearest emergency vet. I would stay with them, keep you updated, and make sure they receive the care they need as quickly as possible.
