I have cared for, loved and looked after animals my whole life. It’s a vocation for me and I absolutely adore being around them. Their natural endorphins and infectious energy of joy is contagious. My ability and dedication to all animals has been shown through a number of short and long term pet sitting sessions. I’ve taken care of a miniature schnauzer for a year (who belonged to someone else) which was the longest running session I’ve done. I spend a lot of time on walks and playing.

Your card is held, not charged. Happy chaps has 48 hours to accept. The BamChi service fee (5%) is shown in your receipt before you pay.
It’s important to know any stand out features about your pet such as if they are best on their lead when out walking, how they are around other dogs, children, any medical issues to be aware of, and typical habits that might crop up as something to consider, such as jumping or pulling. These aren’t to judge just to get a full picture ahead of meeting :)
Honestly I could spend all day with the pets and would happily do so. I’d take them on at least a half hour walk, at least once a day depending on the arrangements we have in place. I will spend at least another half hour for playtime. If food needs to be set and settle them back in this would likely take another 10-15 minutes
If your pet gets sick or hurt I will contact you immediately and give you as much detail as possible. Depending on the situation, they may need to go to a vet or require medication which I’m happy to do but that would be discussed as payment would be covered by the owner.
I will look after one pet at a time because I believe I can give my full focus and attention to the pets you’re hiring me to care for. I also would like to ensure that every pet I’m looking after feels safe and without competing for attention. Unless you already have more than one pet, I won’t look after others at the same time.
We can stay in touch as much or as little as you like and depending on how long the booking is for. I can send you pictures while out on walks, touch base if you’re away and I’m staying for a longer period more frequently- and of course you can feel welcome to contact me as much as you’d like in that time.
While your request is waiting, cancelling is free — your card is only held. Once Happy chaps accepts: Cancel up to 2 days before the start for a full refund. Cancel inside 2 days and 50% is refunded; inside 24 hours nothing is refunded. If Happy chaps cancels, you're always refunded in full.
