About Kate

Hello fellow animal lovers! Growing up have always had cats and have lived with dogs, chinchillas, guniea pigs, rabbits, mice and a tortoise over the years! I am unable to host due to the number of animals in our house but more than happy to walk dogs, or care for your pets in their homes or any other home based pet care. I lived with a vet nurse (hence the many animals!) and routinely assisted in their care and fostering of kittens as well as caring for my own cat. I am a paediatric Speech Pathologist day to day (working hybrid from school and home) so am familiar with NDIS provider services. I also volunteer with Sea Shepherd and am passionate about animals, especially pets! I would be delighted to look after your fur baby and will offer the utmost care and VIP treatment! I hold accredited RSCPA qualification and WWCC

What do you need to know about a pet before accepting a booking?

I would need to know any relevant medical information, insurance details, appropriate emergency contact details and of course love to hear about your pets personality in particular any quirks, triggers or specific care needs as well as treat, toy and activity favourites

How much time will you actually spend with my pet each visit?

This can be negotiated in pretty flexible

What happens if my pet gets sick or hurt while with you?

I would expect we would pre agree a plan usually to contact your pets vet (or emergency service if applicable - I am very close to the one in Kensington) and keep you informed throughout. Your decision for your pets care is always first and foremost

Cancellation policy

Flexible

While your request is waiting, cancelling is free — your card is only held. Once Happy doggo walker accepts: Cancel up to 24 hours before the start for a full refund. Cancel inside 24 hours and 50% is refunded. If Happy doggo walker cancels, you're always refunded in full.
