What the police check and certification badges mean

A declaration, not a check. When a business applies, it's asked "Do you have a current police check?" and "Do you have any certifications?" A "Police check" badge and a "Certifications" line appear when they answered yes.

What BamChi does not do. We don't ask for the document, sight it or confirm it with anyone. Read it as information the business has told you, the way you would a reference — and ask them for details before booking if it matters to you.

Nothing shown means nothing answered. Businesses that skipped the questions show no badge at all.
