About Charley
I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, particularly Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Huskies and British Blue cats, and I’m comfortable caring for dogs and cats of all different sizes, personalities and energy levels. While I don’t hold any formal animal care qualifications, I have plenty of hands on personal experience and understand the importance of knowing my limits. I will only provide care that I am comfortable and capable of safely providing, and will always follow your instructions regarding your pet’s individual needs and routine. I’m a huge animal lover and will treat your pets with the same patience, care and attention I’d give my own. I also have a very flexible schedule and am happy to work around you and your pet’s routine. 🐾

What do you need to know about a pet before accepting a booking?
I’d love to know as much about your pet as possible! Particularly anything that may trigger or upset them, their likes and dislikes, temperament, quirks, routines and how they interact with other animals. The more I know, the more comfortable I can make their time with me.
How much time will you actually spend with my pet each visit?
I’ll always endeavour to give your pet as much time, attention and affection as possible. Spending time with animals is just as much of a treat for me as I hope it is for them! I’ll never rush a visit and will make sure they’re happy and settled before I leave.
What happens if my pet gets sick or hurt while with you?
I would always try to contact you first. Before caring for your pet, I’ll also ask for your preferred vet and any other veterinary clinics you’re comfortable with. If there was an emergency and I couldn’t reach you, their safety would come first and I would seek veterinary care from one of your nominated clinics as soon as possible.
