Hi, I’m Holly! If you’re looking for someone easygoing, reliable, and genuinely obsessed with dogs, you’ve found your person! I have two dogs of my own—a gentle 12-year-old Labrador and an energetic 2-year-old bully—so I’m used to everything from slow senior strolls to playful zoomies! Caring for my own dogs has given me hands-on experience with daily routines, feeding, walks, playtime, and understanding different temperaments. I’m happy to care for all breeds and sizes, provided they’re reasonably trained and manageable. I’m patient, calm, and love building trust with animals at their own pace, adapting to their individual needs and personalities. My flexible schedule means I can give your pets plenty of time and attention. While I can’t host pets at my home, I’m more than happy to care for them in their own familiar space. What do you need to know about a pet before accepting a booking?
Before I accept a booking, I will need to know whether your pet has any special behaviour issues including triggers on walks or requires any out-of-the-ordinary care e.g. medication
How much time will you actually spend with my pet each visit?
When sitting, I’ll be home most of the day (apart from the occasional errands) and will dedicate my time to playing with and entertaining your pet! Walking includes a 30 minute walk plus 10 minutes settling them back in.
What happens if my pet gets sick or hurt while with you?
I stay calm and organised under stressful situations, ensuring your pets health will be cared for quickly. First thing would be calling you and/or the emergency contact and if needed I will take them to the vet that was given to me before the booking.
How many pets are in your care at once?
Although I only feel comfortable walking one dog at a time. If I’m only required to give company, feed, give water and let out to toilet while sitting, house visit or daycare I’m comfortable with up to 5 different pets doesn’t matter the breed, if you have more send me a message and we can talk further.
How and when will you update me during the booking?
I usually update once a day toward to end of the day or booking with photos and comments about how the day went. Unless there were immediate issues needing to be solved or emergencies then I will contact you promptly.
Do you offer a meet and greet before the first booking?
Yes this is a mandatory requirement before approving a booking for new pets, as this will help us go through further questions and details about the booking and pet as well as giving them and you a chance to feel comfortable with me before leaving us alone.

Cancellation policy

While your request is waiting, cancelling is free — your card is only held. Once Lead The Way Pet Care accepts: Cancel up to 2 days before the start for a full refund. Cancel inside 2 days and 50% is refunded; inside 24 hours nothing is refunded. If Lead The Way Pet Care cancels, you're always refunded in full.
