I’m a genuine animal lover with a passion for caring for animals of all shapes and sizes, including dogs, cats and birds. I’m currently studying Assistant Veterinary Nursing and Wildlife, which is helping me build my knowledge of animal care, behaviour and wellbeing. Before accepting a booking, I like to know your pet’s age, personality and temperament, their normal routine, feeding requirements, any medical conditions or medications, and how they behave around other animals and people. I’d also like to know about any allergies, anxiety, behavioural concerns or special needs so I can make sure I’m able to provide them with safe and comfortable care.
I’ll spend the full agreed amount of time with your pet and make sure they receive plenty of attention and care. Depending on their needs, this can include feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, toilet breaks, cleaning up after them and lots of cuddles and company. I’m also happy to follow their normal routine as closely as possible.
Your pet’s safety and wellbeing will always come first. If I notice they are sick or injured, I will contact you immediately and follow any emergency instructions you have provided. If veterinary attention is needed, I will contact your nominated vet or the nearest appropriate veterinary clinic. I will keep you updated throughout the situation and make sure your pet receives the care they need.
While your request is waiting, cancelling is free — your card is only held. Once Madi’s Paws & Claws accepts: Cancel up to 24 hours before the start for a full refund. Cancel inside 24 hours and 50% is refunded. If Madi’s Paws & Claws cancels, you're always refunded in full.
