I’d describe myself as a huge dog lover! 🐶❤️ I’ve always loved animals, but dogs have a very special place in my heart because of their loyalty, playful personalities and those irresistible puppy faces. I’m honestly the kind of person who will stop in the middle of the street just to say hello to a dog! I have a dog of my own back in my home country who I miss very much, and being away from him is one of the reasons I love spending time with other people’s pups. I’ve been pet sitting through Mad Paws for around 3–4 years while I was living in Melbourne, looking after dogs for friends and other pet owners and gaining experience with dogs of different personalities and routines. I really enjoyed it and loved getting to know each pup and making sure they felt comfortable and cared for while their owners were away. I’d love to know your pet’s age, personality, temperament, routine and how they are around people and other dogs. It’s also helpful to know about any medications, allergies or dietary needs. A meet and greet beforehand is always a great way for us to get to know each other and make sure your pet feels comfortable and settled.
I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, interaction and exercise throughout the day. I work around my schedule to ensure they aren’t left alone for long periods, with regular walks, playtime, cuddles and check-ins. I’ll also follow their normal routine as closely as possible.
Your pet’s safety and wellbeing would always be my priority. If they became unwell or were injured, I would contact you straight away, keep you updated and follow your instructions and preferred vet arrangements. If it were an emergency and I couldn’t reach you, I would seek veterinary care immediately and make sure your pet receives the help they need. I’d also keep you informed throughout the situation.
While your request is waiting, cancelling is free — your card is only held. Once Paw haven accepts: Cancel up to 24 hours before the start for a full refund. Cancel inside 24 hours and 50% is refunded. If Paw haven cancels, you're always refunded in full.
