About Svenja
Hi, I’m Svenja! 🐾 I’ve always grown up around animals, with two dogs, four cats and a few other small pets, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I moved to Australia over two years ago and have also completed dog training with both of my own dogs. I work an office job, so I really enjoy getting outside and spending time with animals in my free time. I’m also living locally and would love to help other pet owners in the neighbourhood.

How much time will you actually spend with my pet each visit?
It depends on the dog and the activity, but generally anywhere from 15 to 60 minutes 🐾
What happens if my pet gets sick or hurt while with you?
If your pet becomes unwell or gets injured while in my care, I would contact you immediately and, if necessary, take them to a vet for urgent care. I’d follow your emergency instructions and keep you updated throughout.
How many pets are in your care at once?

How and when will you update me during the booking?
If you want me to: I provide a detailed update along with plenty of photos right after every visit or walk so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well-cared for
Do you offer a meet and greet before the first booking?
Yes! A complimentary meet and greet is always scheduled before our first booking so we can go over your pet's routine, discuss access, and ensure everyone is comfortable.
How do you handle anxious, reactive or shy pets?
I think it's important to meet first to see their personality and comfort level. From there, I take things entirely at your pet's own pace, using patience, a calm presence, and positive reinforcement to help them feel safe
How do you handle keys and access to my home?
Keys are kept strictly secure and unlabeled, following whatever method you prefer and discuss during our meet and greet.
What happens if you can't make a booking?
In the unlikely event of an emergency or sudden illness, I will notify you immediately and help arrange a reliable backup or reschedule as needed.

While your request is waiting, cancelling is free — your card is only held. Once Pawsitive Vibes with Svenja accepts: Cancel up to 24 hours before the start for a full refund. Cancel inside 24 hours and 50% is refunded. If Pawsitive Vibes with Svenja cancels, you're always refunded in full.
