Please let us know your pet's age, breed, temperament, any medical conditions or medications, dietary needs or allergies, and whether they're comfortable around other animals. For dogs, it's also helpful to know their leash manners and energy level. This helps us prepare properly and make sure we're a good fit before confirming the booking
It depends on the type of visit. For a standard drop-in, I spend around 45 minutes — enough time for a proper walk/playtime, feeding, fresh water, and a general health check. For overnight or full-day stays, I'm with your pet with additional check-ins throughout the day/night. I never rush a visit — if your pet needs extra cuddles, playtime, or just some company, I make sure they get it.
If your pet becomes sick or injured while in my care, I'll assess the situation calmly and act quickly. As a vet nurse in Australia, I'm confident handling emergencies and will contact you immediately, along with your regular vet or the nearest emergency clinic if needed. I always keep your emergency contacts and vet details on hand, and I'll follow any instructions you've provided for your pet's specific needs.
I typically walk pets in the local area around Elwood and Albert Park, including on-leash walks through nearby parks and pet-friendly streets. For home visits or pet sitting, your pet stays in the comfort of their own home. I always prioritize safe, well-maintained areas and avoid busy roads or off-leash zones unless you've confirmed your pet is comfortable and well-socialised for them
I keep group sizes small so every pet gets proper attention — typically no more than 2-3 pets at a time, and only when they're a good match temperament-wise. For walks or home visits, it's usually one household at a time unless you're comfortable with a shared walk
I love keeping you in the loop! You'll get photos and videos throughout the visit or walk, so you can see exactly how your pet is doing. I always send an update when I arrive, during the visit, and once it's finished, plus anything extra if something noteworthy happens

I take things at their pace and never force interaction. With anxious or shy pets, I move slowly, use calm body language, and let them come to me in their own time. For reactive pets, I follow any guidance you give me around triggers and management, and I always prioritise their comfort and safety over sticking to a rigid routine.
I take key safety seriously. I kept them securely separate from any of your personal information. They're only used for your scheduled visits and returned or securely stored between bookings.
In the rare case I'm unable to make a booking, I'll let you know as soon as possible. Since I work with my partner at Petsitteando, I'll do my best to arrange for them to cover the visit so your pet's routine isn't disrupted. If that's not possible, we'll work together to find a solution that suits you
While your request is waiting, cancelling is free — your card is only held. Once Petsitteando accepts: Cancel up to 24 hours before the start for a full refund. Cancel inside 24 hours and 50% is refunded. If Petsitteando cancels, you're always refunded in full.
