About Pihu
I’ve been living with animals since I was 5, so they’ve always been a huge part of my life. I’m a natural with animals and find they tend to warm up to me quickly. I’m patient, gentle and attentive, and love getting to know each pet’s personality. I have a dog, cat and several small pets of my own, and I’m passionate about caring for animals of all kinds. I plan on working with RSPCA soon to pursue my passion for animals because it is so much more than a job for me it’s a passion of mine.

What do you need to know about a pet before accepting a booking?
Before booking, I’d love to know a few things about your pet so I can give them the best care possible: • Their temperament and personality • How they are around other dogs, cats and people • Any medications, allergies or health conditions • Dietary requirements, food and feeding schedule • Their usual exercise and daily routine • Any fears, triggers, anxiety or behaviours I should know about • Toilet/litter habits • Important commands or training • Whether they can be off-leash and any escape risks • Your vet and emergency contact details • Anything else that helps them feel safe, comfortable and happy
How much time will you actually spend with my pet each visit?
I would spend almost all or if not most of the time with the pet, as that is the service you are asking for. I enjoy being around animals so this would not be a problem
What happens if my pet gets sick or hurt while with you?
I’ll give you a ring and if you would like me to take them into the vet I would take them in as urgently as needed. I am usually very attentive and urgent with my pets too even if it’s something minor so i’d ensure i give the same quality of care to other peoples pets!

Cancellation policy

While your request is waiting, cancelling is free — your card is only held. Once Pihu’s Pet Co accepts: Cancel up to 24 hours before the start for a full refund. Cancel inside 24 hours and 50% is refunded. If Pihu’s Pet Co cancels, you're always refunded in full.
