About Prue
I am at home full-time, so your fur baby will have constant love, care, and company throughout the day. We’re a family of animal lovers, and your four-legged family member will be treated like one of our own. At home, they’ll spend time with my very friendly Cavoodle, our relaxed cat, and my kids if they are home—especially my youngest, who is 11 and dreams of becoming a vet and will shower your fur baby with gentle cuddles and affection. We have a secure, fully fenced backyard for safe play, and on warm days, the door stays open so your dog and mine can come in and out as they please. Whether they love playtime or prefer to lounge, I’ll stick to their usual routine to keep them happy and comfortable. What do you need to know about a pet before accepting a booking?
Does your dog enjoy the company of other dogs? Does your dog show any signs of reactivity?
How much time will you actually spend with my pet each visit?
I’m home full time. I often have at least one other family member home with me too, and on weekends often my whole family is home. Your pet will be very my loved and cared for.
What happens if my pet gets sick or hurt while with you?
I will care for them, making them feel comfortable and safe while I tend to their needs. If they need vet care I will contact you and in an emergency I can taken them to the vet.
Where will you take my pet?
We enjoy time at home, often do school drop off and pick up in the car, and go for walks. I live near the bay so like to walk visiting dogs beside the bay, on the beach, at the park, or around my local suburb.
How many pets are in your care at once?
Each day is different.
How and when will you update me during the booking?
I send a photo via text, or in the platform. Oftentimes a photo or two each day, sometimes more.

Cancellation policy
Strict
While your request is waiting, cancelling is free — your card is only held. Once Prue’s Place accepts: Cancel up to 7 days before the start for a full refund. Cancel inside 7 days and 50% is refunded; inside 2 days nothing is refunded. If Prue’s Place cancels, you're always refunded in full.
