About Shalyn

I’ve been walking dogs as a child and more so since my parents gave me my beautiful puppy. I’m an animal lover who genuinely enjoys spending time with pets. I’ve had my own beagle for around 6 years, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to look after your pet. I’m patient, attentive and happy to work with each pet’s individual personality and routine. Whether your dog loves a long walk, a relaxed stroll, lots of playtime or simply some company, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe and cared for. I’d love the opportunity to meet your pet and give them plenty of attention l, exercise and cuddles while you’re away!

What do you need to know about a pet before accepting a booking?

Before accepting a booking, I’d like to know your pet’s age, personality, usual routine, behaviour around people and other animals, and any medical conditions, medications, allergies, fears or behavioural issues. Please also let me know about their feeding, toilet and walking routine, plus any special instructions or important information I should be aware of.

How much time will you actually spend with my pet each visit?

A 60 minute walk along with 10 minutes of settling them back in.

What happens if my pet gets sick or hurt while with you?

If your pet becomes sick or injured while in my care, I will contact you immediately, assess the situation, and seek veterinary assistance if necessary. I will follow your emergency instructions and contact your nominated vet or emergency contact if I cannot reach you.

Cancellation policy

Flexible

While your request is waiting, cancelling is free — your card is only held. Once Roaming Tails accepts: Cancel up to 24 hours before the start for a full refund. Cancel inside 24 hours and 50% is refunded. If Roaming Tails cancels, you're always refunded in full.
