Your card is held, not charged. The Dogless Wanderer has 48 hours to accept. The BamChi service fee (5%) is shown in your receipt before you pay. BamChi holds your payment and releases it to The Dogless Wanderer only after the visit is done.

While your request is waiting, cancelling is free — your card is only held. Once The Dogless Wanderer accepts: Cancel up to 24 hours before the start for a full refund. Cancel inside 24 hours and 50% is refunded. If The Dogless Wanderer cancels, you're always refunded in full.
