I’m 20 years old with over 10 years of hands-on pet care experience. As a previous owner of a beautiful Border Collie for 13 years, I developed a deep understanding of animal behaviour and care. More recently, we've welcomed a new puppy into our family, who has now been with us for the past five months. Having a young pup has kept me up to date with puppy training, socialisation, enrichment, and all the fun (and sometimes messy) stages of raising a happy, confident dog. I’ve also bred and raised rabbits and guinea pigs and have had the privilege of looking after many beloved pets outside my own family. I live in an area surrounded by beautiful parks and dog-friendly spaces, perfect for regular walks, playtime, and enrichment. I’m currently building a business in the holistic wellness industry, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide attentive, reliable, and loving care to every pet I look after. Before accepting a booking, I love to learn a little about each pet’s personality, routine and individual needs. This includes their age, temperament, exercise requirements, feeding routine, any medications or health concerns, and how they interact with other animals and people. I’d also love to know about any fears, behavioural quirks or favourite activities so I can help them feel comfortable, safe and happy while in my care. Every animal is different, and I want to make sure I can provide the care and attention they deserve.
The time spent with your pet will depend on the service booked and their individual needs. I always aim to give them plenty of attention, affection and companionship rather than making them feel like just another task on my day. For walks and drop-in visits, we’ll have dedicated time for exercise, play, feeding or whatever care they need, with a little extra time to help them settle comfortably before I leave. I’ll always be clear about visit lengths and expectations before confirming a booking.
Your pet’s safety and wellbeing will always be a priority. If your pet becomes unwell or gets injured while in my care, I’ll contact you as soon as possible, explain what’s happened and follow your instructions where appropriate. If it’s an emergency, I’ll seek veterinary assistance promptly and contact your nominated vet, keeping you updated throughout. Before each booking, I’ll make sure I have your contact details, your vet’s information and any important medical or emergency instructions so I can act quickly and responsibly if needed.
