Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover and have grown up with dogs in my family. Over the years, I’ve gained plenty of hands-on experience walking, caring for and training dogs. I’m currently walking a Border Collie and helping with their training, which has made me even more passionate about working with dogs. I love keeping them active, reinforcing good behaviour and building trusting relationships. Although I don’t hold formal dog-training qualifications, I have years of practical experience and a genuine interest in learning more. I’d love to offer both dog walking and basic training support, adapting to each dog’s individual needs. I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Recreation and Outdoor Environmental Studies at the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC) for the next two years. I’m patient, reliable and responsible, and would love to continue doing something I genuinely enjoy alongside my studies. I’d like to know their age, breed, temperament and energy levels, as well as any medical conditions, allergies or medication. It’s also important to know how they behave around other dogs and people, whether they have any fears or behavioural triggers, and how they respond to walking on a lead. I’d also love to know their usual routine, training level and any specific needs or preferences.
I’m happy to adapt the time depending on your dog’s needs and the service booked. For walks, I can offer 30–60 minutes of walking, with additional time for settling in, play or basic training if needed. I’ll always make sure your dog gets plenty of attention and isn’t rushed.
Your pet’s safety and wellbeing are my priority. If they become unwell or injured, I’ll contact you immediately, explain the situation and follow your instructions. In an emergency, I’ll make sure they receive appropriate veterinary care as quickly as possible and keep you updated throughout.
