I would always have a vet in mind in case of an emergency and contact the owners as soon as possible. If a pet gets physically hurt, I would provide basic first aid and keep them comfortable. In case of poisoning or anything more serious, I would take them to a vet immediately. Your pet's safety would always be my priority!
