About Josie
Hi All! I’m offering pet sitting and dog walking services because I’ve always had a huge love for animals and have plenty of experience caring for them. I’ve grown up always having pets and have been responsible for looking after, walking and caring for them throughout my life. I’ve also previously done pet sitting and dog walking for other people, so I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your furry family members. What do you need to know about a pet before accepting a booking?
Before Your Booking To make sure your pet is happy, safe and comfortable, I’ll need to know: * Pet’s name, age and breed * Feeding times and food requirements * Walking routine and preferred walking length * Toilet routine * Personality and temperament * How they behave around other animals, people and children * Any fears, triggers or behaviours I should be aware of * Any allergies, medical conditions or medications * Commands they know and any training requirements * What equipment they use (harness, collar, lead, etc.) * Where they sleep and any house rules * How long they can be left alone * Emergency contact details * Preferred vet and emergency vet information * Where food, leads, medication and other supplies are kept * Anything else you think I should know to help your pet feel safe and comfortable If you are more comfortable I can also arrange a meet & greet before the first booking so I can meet you and your pet, go through their routine and make sure we’re a good fit!
How much time will you actually spend with my pet each visit?
Services & Time With Your Pet Walking services: 1 hour from $30 Pet Visits: During each visit, I’ll spend the full booked time with your pet, giving them attention, cuddles, playtime, exercise and whatever care they need. Pet Sitting: Prices may vary depending on the number of pets, location and individual requirements.
What happens if my pet gets sick or hurt while with you?
What happens if my pet gets sick or injured? Your pet’s safety and wellbeing will always be my priority. If your pet becomes unwell or injured while in my care, I will: * Contact you immediately to let you know what has happened. * Assess the situation and provide basic first aid if appropriate. * Contact your nominated vet or emergency vet if needed. * Follow any instructions you have provided for your pet’s medical care. * In an emergency, seek veterinary attention immediately rather than waiting for a response. * Keep you updated throughout the situation and provide you with any relevant information from the vet. Before your booking, I’ll ask for your emergency contact details, preferred vet and any relevant medical information so I know exactly what to do if something unexpected happens. Please note: Veterinary treatment and associated costs are the responsibility of the pet owner.

Cancellation policy

While your request is waiting, cancelling is free — your card is only held. Once Waggly walks accepts: Cancel up to 2 days before the start for a full refund. Cancel inside 2 days and 50% is refunded; inside 24 hours nothing is refunded. If Waggly walks cancels, you're always refunded in full.
