What do you need to know about a pet before accepting a booking?
A little bit about how they deal with new people, if they’re dealing with any health issues so i can keep an eye out for any distressing signs you may need to know. And any other details such as age and breed if you feel comfortable with that!
How much time will you actually spend with my pet each visit?
Roughly 45 minutes to an hour depending on availability on the day
What happens if my pet gets sick or hurt while with you?
If something happened to a dog while in my care, I would stay calm and make sure the dog was safe and away from any further danger. I would contact the owner straight away and follow any instructions they have provided. If the dog was injured or needed urgent medical attention, I would phone the various emergency or vets near me and ask for advice, and because i am a minor i wouldn’t be able to take the dog myself, so i would pass on the vet advice aswell as let you know the events so you can take care of your pup in ways you see fit. I would always treat the dog’s safety and wellbeing as my first priority.

While your request is waiting, cancelling is free — your card is only held. Once Walks With Smiles accepts: Cancel up to 24 hours before the start for a full refund. Cancel inside 24 hours and 50% is refunded. If Walks With Smiles cancels, you're always refunded in full.
